Our Maumee-based Lucas County Soil & Water District is collecting milkwood pods to expand Monarch butterfly habitat. Pick the pods when they turn gray or light brown, place in a paper bag and deliver to the District office at 130 A W. Dudley Street, next to Jacky’s depot.
