Gardeners from across Ohio are attending the state convention held in our area April 18-20. There will be workshops, entertainment, the annual meeting and award luncheons. Of interest to the public is the state flower show, “Splish Splash”. It will be judged the morning of April 19 and ribbons will be awarded. Then, from 2-6 pm, the show will be open to the public. There will be floral designs and horticulture specimens for viewing as well as educational exhibits. The show is being held at the Holiday Inn and Suites off St. Rt. 20 in Perrysburg behind the Panera and across from Kroger. I will be working the raffle table on Tuesday evening and hope to visit the flower show the next day. Hope you get a chance to visit as well.
