I first met Libby through my sister’s time with the Young Rep Roadshow, a youth outreach by the Toledo Repertoire Theatre on 12th Street in downtown Toledo. We all knew she was very talented even at such a young age. She and her sister were always cast in whatever production the Young Rep was performing that season. After graduating from Maumee High School, Libby went on to Baldwin-Wallace to study theater and then moved to New York, where she lived with three roommates all seeking stardom on the Broadway stage. Libby achieved that dream performing in Wicked. This fall, Libby will present a concert in Maumee featuring Broadway music as a fundraiser for the Maumee Performing Arts Center. I’ll keep you posted when the date is determined.
