The annual marathon race through the city of Maumee will be held Saturday, June 18 from 7-10 am. The route begins in uptown Maumee, continues through Sidecut Metropark and finishes in downtown Toledo at Fifth Third Field. I enjoy getting up early to watch the runners pass by my house and give them a cheer of encouragement. Register through the Maumee Chamber website, http://www.maumeechamber.com.
