This Saturday, March 26, there will be an electronic recycling event at the Lucas County Rec Center. Accepted will be all electronics except air conditioners, alkaline batteries, appliances, CRT monitors, florescent bulbs and TVs. However, Menards accepts florescent bulbs and Battery Wholesale accepts alkaline batteries. A $10 donation per car is suggested to aid Nature’s Nursery. I suspect many of you know by now the wonderful work the Nature’s Nursery does in rehabilitating animals and wildlife to get them back into their natural habitat so the donation goes to a worthy cause.
