On Friday, October 1, the Maumee Senior Center will host Maumee native Gene Parker and fellow musicians at the center on S. Detroit Ave. Parker will play while those lucky enough to have tickets will enjoy a meal of chicken cooked in white wine, seafood chowder and French sweets. Wine and coffee will be available for purchase. The doors open at 5 pm with dinner served at 6 pm. The cost is $25 per person and tickets can be purchase at the senior center, by calling 419-893-1994 or by emailing maumeeseniorcenter@gmail.com.
