I am thrilled that the Maumee Mirror did a story on the nonprofit Scrap4Art. When I did my spring cleaning last year, I found many items that the recycling-for-art organization could use. If you haven’t driven by or stopped in at Scrap4Art, it is located at the corner of W. Wayne and Ford streets. It takes in items that might ordinarily end up in a landfill, organizes them at the store and make them available for artists or any one to purchase at great prices. Stop in and let the creativity flow for a fun artistic project for you and/or your family. It is open the first and third Saturday, 9 am-4pm and the second and fourth Tuesdays, 3:30-6:30 pm.
