The Uptown Maumee Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area is being considered by the city. The approval would allow alcoholic drinks to be carried by patrons 21 years and older in the DORA boundaries. An application for such an area has to be submitted to the state of Ohio. A public hearing prior to submission is scheduled for April 1.
