Saved from destruction in 2000 by the city of Maumee, the theatre plays an important role in the community. Besides movies, it is home to local live theatre productions, concerts, and organization and corporate events. Due to the pandemic of 2019-2020, a limited number of patrons are allowed to attend the movies, which are showing presently. Masks are required. If you are a lover of movie popcorn (and who isn’t!), it is available to be purchased until 8 pm even if you are not attending a movie. Visit http://www.greateasterntheatres.com.
