A DORA zone is under consideration for uptown Maumee by the city. DORA stands for Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area where those over 21 or older may purchase alcohol from approved establishments and allowed to leave that establishment and walk in the area. Special cups are used for patrons. Special rules and guidelines will need to be set up and followed.
