Quilt Foundry Makes Masks

I wanted to give a shout-out to my client, Lisa Spalding, and her cadre of helpers at the Quilt Foundry at 234 W. Wayne Street in downtown Maumee. They have been sewing masks for use by local hospitals, hospice care facilities and medical organizations. What is needed now is elastic (think about in the waistband of old pajamas pants or athletic wear or forgotten in the bottom of an old sewing kit)! If you have any extra elastic, you can drop it off at an outside bin at the Quilt Foundry location.

When life returns to normal, consider taking one of the classes offered! It is a fun afternoon and one for both novice and experience seamstresses!
