Famed local musician Gene Parker will perform a special jazz concert on February 21 at the Maumee Senior Center 2430 S. Detroit Ave., Maumee. The doors open at 5:30 with dinner served at 6:30 pm. The concert follows dinner. The cost is $20 and feature a dinner of seafood chowder, po’boy sandwiches and French-style sweets in keeping with a New Orleans theme. Parker has performed with famous musicians Tony Bennett, Vic Damone, Nancy Wilson, Jack Jones, Lou Rawls, Gladys Knight and Mel Torme. For tickets, call 419-893-1994.
