2016 Danberry Treasure Chest
When all other resources have been exhausted, the social workers at Toledo Children’s Hospital turn to the Caring Friends Council and The Danberry Treasure Chest to help patients and their families get through emergency financial situations and to provide direct assistance to eligible families supporting a patient with a chronic or debilitating disease.
The Danberry Treasure Chest provides emergency funds to the families of children with serious illnesses who are struggling with their financial responsibilities. Administered through the Toledo Children’s Hospital Foundation, Danberry has assisted over 750 families in the Toledo Area. Since its inception 22 years ago, The Danberry Treasure Chest Auction has raised over $600,000 to help these patients and their families.
